Robbie Countryman is a talented and creative multi/single camera director who has enjoyed a successful career in the entertainment industry for well over twenty years. Born in Los Angeles, California, Robbie attended Beverly Hills High School and then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in communications from the University of Southern California in 1988.
Eager to pursue a career in television, “Growing Pains” became his first “gig” in the world of situation comedies. Robbie worked on the show for four seasons, quickly moving up the ranks from a production assistant to assistant director. He also worked in that capacity on such shows as “Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper”, “Martin”,” Living Single”, “The Jamie Foxx Show”,”For Your Love”, and “Reba”.
2004 marked the year of Robbie’s directorial debut. After directing 16 episodes of the Reba show, Robbie has continued to perfect his artistry and talent as a director while helming shows like “Wizards of Waverly Place”, “The Wannabes”, "Let's Stay Together", "Baby Daddy", "Crash&Bernstein" and "Melissa & Joey".
